Here's a recording of a "track" from the EMX-1 pattern pack I'm currently working on.
Tools used: Korg EMX-1, Zoom R16 multitrack.

Nice, you're definitely the best EMX programmer I know of personally. You've REALLY gone into the depths of that groovebox.
This song is nice and laid back. Dubstyle beat with chillin timbres. Something to get irie to. _________________ paypal.me/CharlesFerraro |

its not terribly deep hahaha.
Thanks a lot man.
The EMX has taught me so much in the past few years because you really have to work with it to get decent sounds out of it and also have to be very careful with your mix to avoid ending up with mud.
Definitely not a box for preset junkies or lazy people (which are usually the ones who complain how weak it sounds or how limited it is... and that just drives me harder)
I'm kind of dreading the learning curve on the Roland V-synth now. _________________ http://soundcloud.com/neotechtonics

Saw it listed locally second hand for ~$1000.. A couple months later price dropped to ~$500 (about $465 by todays exchange rate)... I'm not the kind to pass on a deal like that.
Its the XT (rack version) btw. I'm no keys player so why waste the space.
Its seriously deep but I'll either be using it principally as a studio synth and/or for sampling because its multi-timbral execution is attrociously set out (thanks Roland!!) _________________ http://soundcloud.com/neotechtonics
