Personally i am a big fan of Kawai keyquallity, touch and buildquallity... But if its anything like older Kawais, its going to take two roadies to put it on the stage..

Its really starting out for Musikmesse now..

akai announced 3 new apc and a new drum machine

And Nord announced the A1R module..

Whilst Roland finally showed the Aira range in action...

Thats allready more key news then on the whole NAMM.. And the start of the Messe is still 2 days away

With this many early news items, its pretty obvious that there will be some very big eye and attention catchers announced during the Messe

The AKAI Rhythm Wolf came as a real surprise.
I love the analog revival, because it makes one point very clear: there's life beyond digital.

It's remarkable how this trend of analog extends itself beyond analog synths and modules even into the area of media, such as the vinyl record which has seen a constant rise in sales volume since 2006.
I hope that there are companies which will reconsider making analog tape recorders again, since so far only Otari seems to be active in that area.

There is a PA 300 available from Korg.

They also launched 2 guitar products, and a digital home piano...

I dont think the big keynews is comming from Korg this season.. But then thats what we expected... As they are still leading the competition by half a mile.

According to its outlook and specs, PA300 seems to be the scaled down PA600.

Comparing the MiniBrute to the MiniBrute SE.
The original is black - the SE has an aluminum look to it with wooden side panels.
Th original had an argegiator - SE has a sequencer
SE is $50 more.

That Kurz looks pretty cool. Finally someone is attempting some kind of competition with the Kronos.

And Sonar announced the X3e update is imminent, which I'm personally happy about.

I do not think that Kurz is high end synth, i still think it is watered down version.
