I'm at a loss having been able to do something fairly simple some years ago and I'm hoping this forum might be able to help. Basically, I'm wanting to record the audio out of the Korg Karma into Logic Pro X, BUT I want the audio to be triggered by quantised MIDI to ensure the timing is spot on.
I have MIDI IN and OUT connected by USB to the Apple iMac and Left and Right Audio connected to the audio interface. I create a Logic midi instrument (piano) to record the well timed piece and I want to transmit that piano piece out to the Karma so that it plays back the audio (Karma patch) I've selected. I seem to recall things like MIDI local control should be off etc but no matter what I try I can't seem to get this to work. Do I need to set things up in Logic in any way? Any ideas?
Many thanks
