Ok. I've got this setup, finally trying to make the TEControl UNI MIDI breath controller to work with the MOSS board.
But...even with the MOSS manual I can't make heads or tails how to use it. I've configured the TEControl correctly I think with the software it came with, put it in the MIDI IN of Triton, but have absolutely no idea how to control with it. I found my way to Edit-Basic and OSC 1 -page, but no matter what I put into the EG, AMS etc. I can't get it to respond in any predictable manner. It does work however since I was able to make the sound fade when I blew to it, but don't get this either anymore.
Any clues how to learn this thing? |

Hi there
have a look at the MIDI implementation chart on page 155 of the Triton manual
There you'll find a list of CCs that it recognizes. Most importantly, you have to set Global P1: MIDI Filter (Control Change) to Enable, otherwise the CC messages from the breath controller will be discarded.
Try CC11 (expression) or CC7 (volume), but in principle anything that your patch recognizes will work. |
