I have created an 80's and 90's dance set for the Korg Kronos Lots of rave and classic house samples, loops, vocals, rave, electro stabs and some classic 80's drum machines i.e Linn Drums, Linn LM1, Oberheim DMX Roland TR-909, TR707 etc. A total of 128 presets. This is still a work in progress so will keep updating.

The Linn Drums, Linn LM-1 and Oberheim DMX drum kits are not samples of the original drums machines but are the actual raw sound data extracted from the original eeprom images because I wanted them to sound as original to their respected machines as possible.

All tracks recreated by myself and is included as music demos.

Song 1 80's Drums Showcase
Song 2 Back 2 Tha Warehouse
Song 3 I'm Gonna Get Ya (Bizzare Inc)

You can select these in the set list.

Make sure you back up your programs first as this set will overwrite PROG U-G & U-EE INT 000 upwards. Make sure you back up your PCG drum kits and any songs, i wont be responsible for lost work and combi's etc. Install at your own risk.

A minimum of 200 mb of sample ram is required to load this set.

To install download and Unrar. Copy the DANCE folder to your USB device. Press disk and locate the folder, load DANCE.PCG making sure you tick load DANCE.KSC and DANCE.SNG. It will take a short while to load all the sounds so be patient. Once loaded press BANK SELECT U-G and scroll to INT 000 - INT 127. There are additional drum sets in U-EE.

Enjoy and leave comments for any suggestions

yep it sounds exactly the same all the mastering is done directly on the Kronos not external fx. Smile

Really nice to see this. I am personally most inspired by the tunes from the 80's and the 90's, so this will be very welcome on my Kronos!

Yes. Instead of loading the PCG file directly, you can open the PCG file and browse by Program.
Then you can select the programs you want to install and in which bank you want them to go.

With PCG Tools you can easily move programs/combis around; however if there is a seq/song (file), you need to manually change those references.
