Hi Rikki,
Yes, there is a sound mapping available that covers the Ketron SD2 banks. There are many more sound banks in addition. Send me an SD2 compatible style that loads into One Man Band, and I'll test it using our sampled sound library and send you an audio file back?
Best regards,
Rob |

Hi Rob,
ok, I'll see how I go. Haven't done a psr style in ages.
Might be a day or so.

Sorry, I've never seen that menu at all before, let alone an error message like that. Your install looks very different than what I originally went though.
The entire procedure for installing the OS is total hit and miss anyway when using install disks. If things are still as they were just before Lionstracs pulled the plug on all this, to install the OS required installing 5.1 first, then going to 5.3 and trying to get WINE to then work on top of that.
A complete nightmare to be honest. I only ever managed to get it done right once, and lucky me I cloned the hard disk to a backup disk at the time. So now if I ever want to format my X-R and start over, it's a quick enough process that's guaranteed to work 100%.
My 2 cents, I gather you bought this unit from Lionstracs, so best to get back onto Domenico and ask him to send you a HDD with a clone of the OS rather than install disks.
Regards
Sharp. |

Are you sure thats the OS version that came with the Groove?
Or are you trying to install one of the latest Ubuntu version?
Did you install GRUB before trying to install the OS?
Did you add a new hard disk? Then you need to format it first with a Linux filesystem, even before installing GRUB
What does your lionstracs installation manuall say about the procedure? |
