They may not be including Midi Thru ports like the older electribes, but at least they have Sync in/out. So you'll be able to connect it to the other Volcas and analog gear AS WELL as use the standard midi. |

May be interesting for syncing with a Monotribe as well, which can be done through the ESX but only with some clever slicing.
Either way, good to see Korg is keeping the Electribe family alive! |

Would it be helpful for you if the midi out port can also be used as midi thru? I think there are some synths where you can set if the signal is just going thru the device, just going in and control things or both, going in, playing notes and going thru again. |
