I apologize for asking a question that probably has been answered many times before. Can someone please tell me what components should be deleted from a custom made (non-korg set from oversease) set before loading it into Pa3X without messing up the factory settings or compromising the quality of the loaded set. For example I've this set that has these components, Global, MULTISMP, PAD, PCM, PERFORMANCE, SONGBOOK, STYLE, and SOUND. Which one to delete before loading.
THX, Arash

The myth about risky "Global" file has been collapsed after 2012 , since all latest Pa OS do not allow loading this file if not compatible !
For instance when loading a Pa800 SET in Pa3X , global file is omitted !
But my experience in Pa3X troubleshooting has taught me that some older individual styles of Pa800 with bad format or messed STS properties
can easily ruin Pa3X system or corrupt Sys SSD !!! (though declared as compatible)
My advice is to load individual groups of styles / sounds , as the only way to see loading warnings , since during a "load ALL" procedure
OS will never warn you about a partial sound/style issue !
