Well I got mine after the very positive review in "Sound On Sound" magazine, I never got it to work well and I tried setting it up many different ways.
You would be better off spending your money on a TriplePlay system in my view. |

I don't think I've ever seen a negative Sound on Sound review
Was that Craig Anderton by the way? He hangs around the Cakewalk forums a lot and is a very approachable guy in case you'd like to have another go (and in case it was him). |

I've read some bad reviews, or reports from users, I should say.
I do have a Roland GTK3 but the YRG would have been a handy tool to have. _________________ http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=forum&id=1251 |

You Rock looks very attractive to someone who uses hardware synths because you can plug into your Korg midi sound gear directly from the You Rock.
As some have said before the Triple play system is truly the best midi guitar system on the market right now. Unfortunately you have to wait a little longer before the Triple Play as it's special accessory to play regular midi gear...since the Triple Play, for now is only for computers. They are dragging their heals for the direct to midi system but eventually fishman triple play will work on every form of midi system, whether it be computer or hardware. Once that happens, then Roland GK is done!
So pass on the YRG and wait till the Fishman Triple play has everything! If you are only looking for a guitar to computer solution, then invest in the Triple play now. I have one, trust me, it's worth every penny...and I keep bugging them about the release of their triple play midi box. _________________ Korg PX5d
