Hi,

I bought Kaossilator 2 few months ago and yesterday i wanted to update the firmware to 1.10 from korg www site.

During update i first saw "working..." on screen and then i saw " card error".

When I checked later the firmware was still old ( v. 1.0Cool ... and kaossilator worked. I turned it off and since then i can't get it working.

When I push power on button the red led lights and that's all... nothing happens... Sad

Is there any way to fix that problem ?

I know there were similar topics on korgforums but unfortunately i didn't found the solution for "dead kaossilator".

Maybe there is some kind of "emergency firmware uploading mode " like in wifi routers ??

i have a couple of questions for you, and pardon me for asking, i'm just trying to rule out some factors:

1. did you use new/fresh batteries?
2. did you format the sd card first using the ko2?

hmm... that's quite odd. i never had any issues when i updated mine.

i'm not sure if this would work as the procedure below is for a demo, i think. but if this does work, you will be able to re-do the update process on your device:

- Hold Mic On/Off + Track I, then Power Button
or
- Hold Mic On/Off + Track I + Track II, then Power Button

i'm crossing my fingers... let me know if it works. Smile
