|
|
Hi!
First post here... and, typically, I have a problem.
When I am sequencing from the Triton and press the ''Locate'' switch to return to the start of a song my external synth's either give a MIDI error message or just lock up (Roland JD-990.)
I have gone through the MIDI filter settings on the synth's - turning setting on or off, but the problem still persists.
It is just a simple set up of the Triton MIDI out going to a MIDI thru box and on to the external gear.
Anybody have an idea what it is that I am doing wrong?
Thank you. |

Hi again.
I managed to resolve this issue. It was the ''Control Change'' and ''Bank Change'' messages sent from the Triton causing the problem.

...just updating my own thread!!
What ultimately caused this problem was my old MIDIMAN thru box... I have had it for years, it was very well built - but, regrettably decided to mess with my non-technologically inclined mind when I was very vulnerable to such devious and unwarranted behavior... ie: I was drunk.
I bought a new Kenton model and now I indeed do sleep better at night.
Thanks for bearing with me, folks. _________________ Delia Derbyshire facebook page:
