The clicking seems to be dependant on if you're using Poly or Mono modes per part, as well as on the release settings. I get it every once in awhile, but hasnt really been an issue for me yet. Usually it gets masked by drum sounds, or I use a different sound.

indeed if you solo a part, it can become quite apparent. With drums and other elements going on, not so much or at all. I notice the pcms also suffer this issue, regardless of their being in mono or poly.

It greatly depends on your style of music. I often make low tempo/laid-back stuff with pads/chords and very little drums. The clicking is very apparent then. Specially in parts without a beat. Making ambient/soundscapes on this box will quickly become a click-scape.

not exactly, dutchcow. you know that i was one of the first members of this forum to start complaining about the clicks, and I have been able to start making ambient stuff despite having to work around the clicks. Its possible; its just not easy, unfortunately. You can't really do what you want when it comes to a live situation - you ahve to tread carefully for fear of a click. So I still stand behind my belief that Korg needs to fix this (to me this is more dreadful than the pattern change gap.). But you can still achieve it nonetheless.

The fact alone that you need to take into account the machine might blurt out clicks is bad. It shouldn't click this much and this easily. I don't want to worry and take into account clicking constantly when being creative, it obstructs that flow.

I worry Korg has so much to fix there will always be glitches and bugs with this machine. Which is a pitty. Even my retailer hasn't heard back from Korg. I will most likely opt to get my money back.

Probably a good idea, you don't seem very happy with yours at all.

I do like it, but not in its current state. My expectations are too high Very Happy My happiness is limited due to the issues, but I will order one again without hesitation once its grown up!

I have been eyeing a 2nd hand monomachine for a good price. Have to wait for my refund and see if I have enough Wink
