I have an electribe2 and am looking at adding something else to compliment it, but cheap, portable etc, so it can all sling in a backpack together.
So, Volca Sample... or what? How does it stack up against an Akai MPX 16? Anything else I should consider? It doesn't have to be a sampler, I like the Waldorf Rocket Synth for £139 - but does it have more than the EMX2 in synth sounds? Maybe not.
So, what to add?
ps - I also have a Macbook pro with Maschine (mikro), Arturia Minilab etc, but I want to get away from laptop music and play the darn things! |

I think the Volca Sample is the perfect addition for the Electribe 2. Simply connect a MIDI cable and a audio cable between the both units and you got a compact, battery-operated and flexible setup. |
