Thanks Ruso. I just got an emx and and its opened up another window for me. However ive only spent a few days on it and found it a little muddy sounding. I then took you advice and realized that ive been smothering my tracks with either way too much bass or way too much kick drum. I actually took out 2 drum parts turn my bass line down and my one track sounds much much cleaner.
I will always keep this in the back of my mind from now on. Dont smother your tracks!
cheers. |

Dear Mr. Russo.
Thanks for the information and for taking your time to teach some of the things you have figured out while using the electribe. I'm new to this forum and new to the electribe and I'm fascinated with it. I would like some advice from you.
I have read that many people in the forum recommend to change the tubes. But, what tubes? When looking through ebay and amazon I have found some of those called JJ EC83S or something like that, but many have different prices and I also have read that you have to buy "matched tubes". Can you explain me more about that?
Secondly, anyone can change the tubes or must be someone with knowledge of electronics?
Thanks.
Francisco. |
