This is my first post so hello all.
I'm having an issue with my new Volca Sample and the Caustic Editor.
The samples I'm loading in total 86% of the memory according to the Caustic Editor but when I load them in, 0-45 load in fine, then I get an "Err Full" plashing on the Volca.
That then changes to "Err crc"
Strangely though, it also loads up samples in to slots 59 and 66. I'm trying to load in to 0-72
Any ideas if the memory usage thing in the Caustic Editor is incorrect? Or what the issue might be?
Cheers all |

Cheers.
I actually sorted it last night by lowering the overall volume of the samples slightly. From some reading around I saw that the crc error seemed to have something to do with overall volume.
I also prepped the samples at the right sample rate rather than relying on Caustic Editor to do it during the upload.
One or the other, or both did the trick and we're all good to go now.

my editor doesn't resample (yet) so you can save space by resampling yourself. Anything above 31250Hz is wasted.
The next update should automatically resample to 31250 before upload. |
