can I store smf's to hd and recall them through jukebox? Thanks

Yes you can. I'd suggest creating a sub folder in the DirectHD folder using the drop down menu and calling it something like "MyMidis" and keeping all your midis there.
You can play midis by navigating to the file via Seq1(Player1) or set them up in Songbook or Jukebox.
I find Songbook the best option because you can adjust things like Transpose and STS's without changing the midi itself.

thanks just tried that used jukebox, I edited the smf's in sequencer mode then saved to hard drive and played back through jukebox it's doing what I want to now. Can I load the smf's from cd drive or fd only to originally get them in keyboard

CD drive should work but I have never had one to try. The fastest way is via USB cable plugged from the rear device port to your PC. Go to Disk, USB enable and wait a minute or two. Once your computer recognizes your Korg HD then you can simply drag and drop new midi files to the folder in your Korg HD.
It would be a good idea to back up your Pa1x before doing this just in case you click the wrong button Shocked
