Video of issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTApucPX9dI
[Below is original text I submitted to the volca subreddit. I have yet to try the solution posted as a response to the video on youtube, as I am currently waiting on mono cables to come in. Also, there appears to have been a previous thread with a similar issue (http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=583121&sid=847ca43f6ddf91e8bd1790798980f387) but no specific fix is identified, rather "it just started working".]
I am experiencing an issue where the Volca Bass peak/filter/volume is causing the Volca Bass to lose sync when the headphone jack is routed to a Belkin Rockstar audio-splitter.
Has anyone else experienced this and can confirm that it is some sort of audio crosstalk happening from the headphone output on the Volca Bass? The weird thing is that if the volca bass is a middle part of the chain, even when it skips sync, the items further down the chain stay in sync.
Current setup
(Sync) Volca Sample -> Volca Bass -> Po-12
(Output) All are routed to the same Belkin Rockstar (Product for reference: http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-RockStar-Headphone-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B0017PG8KS) which I then plug a set of headphones into or use as a hub to connect to an audio interface.
If I switch to the Volca Bass providing sync out for the Volca Sample, this issue then causes the Volca Sample to skip horribly off-sync.
If this is related to the Belkin Rockstar, does anyone have information on a cheap solution to consolidate the Volca Sample, Volca Bass, and PO-12 (stereo out as well) to a single audio out solution?
Thank you, |

I did not have those Problems - anyhow I do prefer to have a "central Master clock" which slaving my Volcas - see following link http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=96091
This gives you much more flexibility and stability - additionally you can then have for example a clock-divider like the Doepfer A-160-1 (or the brand-new A-160-2 for odd clock-divisions) in between which then enables you to run your setup with various tempos at the same time... |

Not having the same set up I can't say I've had the same, but when linking all my Volcas I have definitely had the sync go out on the bass due to the volume on the others. I sync them from the electribe via the sync cable and it's rock solid, but with only the Volcas it's not great. _________________ 01/WFD - M3 - MS-20 - Volca Bass - Volca Beats - Volca Keys - electribe emx2 - Monotron - KP3+ - iPad with too many Korg apps
