https://youtu.be/pFpQtxDY58E - Part 1

http://youtu.be/-nH7hbt7xdc - Part 2

I had a tricky time with this one, not in terms of the sound, but rather the sweep characteristics.

In the end (spoiler) I did get the sound pretty darn close with what I had, but see for yourself.

Also, the PCG is here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49099211/CARS-MOVINGSTEREO.PCG

User DD is the "failed" AL-1 attempt.
User EE is the successful HD-1 attempt.
Use knob 5 as outlined in the vid.

Questions? Shoot them my way!

Really nice stuff guy !

I love those kind of tutorials when you shoot all the steps even the bad ones.
We can follow the logic and your analysis and that's make it great.

Congratulation.

This is the kind of tutorial Korg webstite should be stacked up with!

Thank you Engma. It's also fun to watch creating process as it happens.

Thanks so much! As long as people get something out of these videos, I'm happy to continue making them.

Maybe someday I'll source myself a decent camera and get some higher quality videos. For now though, mobile phone it is haha

FYI, you can 'lock' the focus if you tap&hold where you want to focus for few seconds (you'll see AEAF lock msg). That will stop constant refocusing. I learnt that recently.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm using a customized ROM on the Oneplus One phone... No such feature seems to exist, though not as a lack of trying.

What brand of stylus do you use on your Kronos tutorials? Most I run across have a much bigger tip or else they're really expensive.

Really enjoyed these videos! Thanks Enigma, I will definately be following future videos, as a covers band player sometimes I dont know where to start with some types of sounds so really interested about how to go about constructing stuff from scratch. Thanks!!

This album (The Cars) came out in 1978, so the synth that played this must have been an Analogue. You could maybe do this on the MS20?
