el hombre its so much fun isn't it, it does need time I am finding thouhjh - certainly not instantly gratifying ex cept for the obvious bass and leads, ive found that there is waaaaaaaaay more going on than what I thought initially, those FM sliders respond to very very small movements and there are so many secrets. must have spent 10 hours on it already programming from hi-hats to sick pads

I found this video on YT last night made for the original, its like 40 minutes long as is the recording from the tape they used to supply with the unit - they also used to supply pedals with the synth can you believe that? (seeing as Korg were staying true to the original I wish they had have supplied pedals Wink )

http://youtu.be/Pu2JwwG3bjA

anyway -it has some cool stuff in it - - if you wish to see the subtle nuances anyway, they cover all the basics like trumpets, percussion etc right thru to leads. I always wondered why the hell they would show how to make trumpets and stuff like that but then I was shocked at how it will do them, minor adjustments make lots of instruments, having a pedal or something to simulate allows for variation as well, I used my microbrute lfo out put last night to some degree

Damn, Jamie, definitely gonna have to check that out tonight! It's amazing how much deeper this synth is than I thought it was for the first few days of tinkering on it. I've got a gig tonight that I'm tempted to use it for but I don't think I'm quite ready to bust it out live yet. Definitely in the next week or two though.

I'm taking mine to it's first practice with full band tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing this thing through a big amp.
