|
|
So I have an old Korg T1 that I bought simply as a MIDI controller for use with Finale. Well, now I'm trying to do more MIDI stuff with ProTools, etc. I'd like to use an expression pedal to control some ProTools plugins and synths, specifically Omnisphere, but I can't figure out how to do it. I'm NOT a keyboard guy and the T1 manual is pretty nebulous on how to assign the ASS.PEDAL (giggity)/SW jacks. I'm assuming I need the T1 to recognize the pedal before I can reassign it in a PT plugin, right? Is this even possible with the T1?
I have an M-Audio EX-P expression pedal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

This post is a bit old, but nevertheless....
In the T1's Global mode, one of the first pages will have a section to assign functions to the pedals/switches. And the polarity of the damper pedal.
Choose Expression for the pedal, and it will send cc#11. That's the normal Expression controller. You could also set it to cc#7 (volume).
I hope that helps a little...
