Hi there. I can't find anything about this issue on here or with Google.

My 3-weeks-old Korg Volca Beats has developed a problem with the power button. The device only functions when the button is held down -- as soon as I let go it dies. This is a new issue, it was working fine for the first two weeks.

This is not a question of holding the button down for longer than 2 seconds, as the manual suggests. I can hold it down for any length of time, but as soon as I let go it immediately dies.

I've changed batteries (but don't have a power supply to try out) but no difference.

Seems like a construction issue to me. I may have to return it.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does it sound like something that's easily fixable?

The power button is a non latching switch, so the problem is electronic, return it as faulty.

Ya, roughly my thoughts. Has anyone experienced this problem? Anyone fixed it?

Looks like I'll be returning it, boohoo.
