Hey all,

Well after NuSkoolTone's scare, it's my turn. My car was just stolen in Amsterdam at 4:45 local time. It's a blue Volkswagen van, license plate 20-VVJ-4. Most relevant to this forum, inside was my Kronos 88 (classic) with serial 003901. It has the RAM upgrade, a second 120GB Intel 530 series SSD, the Legendary Strings, Austrian Grand and Soul&Funk brass expansions and a ton of custom sounds.

Other gear includes:
Hammond XB1 with Neo Ventilator (and footswitch)
Roland JX10
RCF 722A speaker, in bag
K&M 18950 keyboard stand including second tier, ipad and mic attachments, in bag
Ultimate Apex keyboard stand including mic boom, in bag

Stanley trolley, with inside:
lots of cables, Yamaha FC7 pedal, sustain pedal, K&M iPad holder (fits iPads 2 through 4), A&H Zed 10 FX mixer, APC UPS, Radial ProD2 DI, Samson mic splitter, Korg NanoPad 2.

If anyone sees anything separately or combined on marktplaats.nl or something, please let me know. Even better if you happen to spot the van parked somewhere, though I'm afraid they're probably stripping it as we speak.

I'm sorry to hear this, Xander, I'll keep an eye on special offers that come my way. I DO hope you were insured?
And I DO hope the jerks who stole from you will get caught and get to spend some quality time behind iron bars.

So sorry to hear about this. I've made this a Sticky Topic in the hope that the additional attention it gets offers some help.

If I can help in anyway, please let me know.

Kind regards
Sharp.

Thanks guys. Pretty sick to my stomach from it. My car is insured but gear is always tricky, especially inside a car. Very afraid that stuff is just a write off unless it turns up on marktplaats.nl or with the car.

Thats like the worst dream...

I will keep an eye out for the equipment... It might just turn up somewhere in the Netherlands... Tough smart thieves have that stuff out of the country and into eastern europe in no time...

Do you think the thieves where after the instruments? Or after the car?

Would be really surprised if they were after the instruments. Even considering the total value it's a lot of niche stuff. The car is an easy buck, it was in very good condition, dealer maintained, recently fixed/sprayed for small scratches after a minor hit and run, and had only run like 120.000 kilometers or so. Which is next to nothing for those things (it's a diesel). I'm super bummed. Short of a miracle, I need the insurance to pay up and pay well, which would be a miracle in itself I guess.

So sorry to hear that. Whilst there is probably not much hope, I do hope that you can recover your gear, or that the insurance covers it.

Which reminds me, I must get my gear covered whilst it's out of the house, and now I am gigging again.

I hope the perpetrator is caught. Good luck to a speedy recovery of all your property.

Aww man, that really sucks!

I'm in Canada so I doubt I could help but I've taken down the serial no just in case.
