i'm glad i could help - anyhow: this should be done by korg and not by us...
either they pay sonicstate, automatic gensey & co or do it themselfes.
a properly done youtube video is always better than a written manual done by a non-native translator and does not cost the world...

sorry - but i really love my volcas, monotribes etc. but i strongly dislike the continuously lousier customer support Evil or Very Mad

1st lay some steps in step mode
2nd activate motion seq
3rd press and hold the step u want to change and turn the knob u want!!
release and turn the knob u turned back to old value because u change all steps while turning a knob but then u turn it back the 1 step u have hold will stay in that value u record u dont have to press rec or any thin else just make sure u are in step mode and motion seq is on
u can do that even with motion seq off but u will hear no change until u set motion seq on Very Happy
