A number of times I have been working on a project and needed to delete errors in a number of measures.

Lets say you have 20 measures of music with there being a pedal used in the final measure number 20. The notes sustain beyond bar after deletion.

The problem is how does one completely eliminate the notes hanging on beyond bar 20.... or any bar.

What is the most efficient way: erase, delete data?
Delete or erase control data?

Please help

Thnx

1. Overdub record press down the pedal, again.. then

2. go to [sequencer edit] page, select event edit

3. in event edit change time when you press down the pedal to the last beat / tick

That will stop ringing notes beyond the measure.
