I think it all boils down to experimenting and practicing a lot, and giving all the tips, tricks and music theory your own twist. But (to me) the most important part is having fun when you're doing it Cool

Just did 2 hours session, tried some of strategies and it works very well, I used F#3-F#2-F#3 sine wave for the base with LP filter with layered saw wave with HP and slow modulation on top that gave me a sound similar to Prodigy's Poison. Along with carefully composed beats with some swing, alternate hi-hats and balanced snare and clap I am pleased with the result:) Then the volca keys comes in and its 4 bars of pleasure. Will continue tomorrow.

1. Launch YouTube
2. Type the name of the song you like
3. Listen to and only to (!) the bass
4. Set the same tempo on E2
5. Record the bass on electribe while using the kick track to guide the rhythm
