Sorry if this is going back to an old topic. Iv'e been away from the Forum for some time. Did we ever find out if there was a dodgy batch of Breakout MIDI adapters shipped with the E2?

If so did anybody get free replacements and how did they go about it?

Thanks.

Back in June I concluded my e2 adapters were duds. I filled in the form on Korg's support page, mentioning I was having trouble getting them to work in any configuration and (politely) that I had seen that others on this forum had the same trouble.

Korg support emailed me back within the week asking for a mailing address. They shipped me the replacement right away, no other questions asked. Painless and efficient.

That doesn't officially confirm or deny a bad batch of adapters per se. My e2 serial number is in the 002300s batch if that helps.
