Well, given that there is no standard for using midi on a 1/8" TRS miniplug, is it really a surprise? Now yes, the ones shipped with the unit should work, but there are other units that use such adapters and I don't know if they are wired the same. I've got one with a beatstep so If i think about it ill check how its wired. Personally I wish manufacturers would just put the Darn STANDARD on their gear, no stupid adapters to lose before a show. For crying out loud its not a mobile phone no one cares if its a 1/4" thicker to accomodate the DIN plug, its gonna sit on a table/desk most of the time anyway. |
