Can I load kmp and ksc sample files to PA3X? Need to know if it's possible to load samples like the other korg samplers do.

No to KSC, yes to KMP.

To load a KMP, in SOUND mode press the RECORD button beside the screen. Select “Multi Sample” on the screen. Using the Tab in the top right of the screen, access the drop down menu and select Import.

This will allow you to load the KMP file.

Regards
Sharp.

You can use the same drop down menu you used to import the KMP files to “Export” them back out as KMP files. Note, I didn't say “Save”.

This method is meant to be only used to export multisounds individually back out of memory as KMP files.

Your KRONOS and all the workstations before it all used KSC/KMP/KSF files as a means to load and save samples. The Pa-Series deosn't. It's native format is a PCM file which can be a block of Multisounds.

So to save a backup of what you loaded into Pa3X, you would go to disk and use the normal save tab and function to create and save everything to a new SET. When doing this the Pa3X will give you the option of what to write into that SET in the form a boxes you can Tick. One of which will be PCM.

Regards
Sharp
