Maybe some of the musicians who used custom presets.
I am interested in an acoustic drum set on wavedrum.
There is a good factory preset No.58. There is no hi-hat and crash the maximum force (on the rim). Somebody was producing such a User Preset?

This preset is present in the new model wavedrum but I do not know his number, and how it is implemented ..

Maybe this thread you share your workings?

P.S.: Sorry for my English!

if you start with preset 58 or 59
you can not add a hi hat or crash sample
these are "Double Algorithms"

There a few new kick/snare programs in the Global Edition.

#189 Dub Step Kit
#190 Angry Man (K+S Dub)
#191 World Party (K+S Moombahton)
#192 Piggy (DubsStep K/S/Hats)

I'll check these this evening and see if any of them sound like that portion of the video.

PS
I've no idea what "Moombahton" even means. Rolling Eyes

Wavedrummer - thanks for information!

May have single-size samples of snare drums and to place them on the head wavedrum. A samples hi-hat and crash on the rim? And to make their sensitivity as follows:
Head: impact pressure sensor in place - kick
head kick - snare drum.
Rims: normal punch - closed hat
a powerful punch - crash.

This is possible on a silver wavedrum?

what are your favourite samples for this job ?
have you made a "Sample Run" already ?

post from April 19 , 2012

there is a rim hihat sample closed / open
it switches with pressure not with velocity ...
decay minus 35 (makes it a closed hihat)
press decay +40 +50 (opens it )
(personal finetuning necessary)
you could do the switching
with the hihat controller of your YDD 65 Wink

did you test the presets 58 / 59 with head pressure already ?

btw : what is a YDD65 (mod) ?

It was IMHO, I have not tested it, because of the wait for an upgrade. I use Wavedrum recently. I want the community to know the opportunities and developments.

I just tried another vain google search to see if anyone has figured out a reliable way to get a hi hat sound without triggering any other drum samples--so I thought I'd try and resurrect this thread. Anyone? From what I can tell, the hi hats are attached to other drums--which is a bummer.
