Yeah, I have the same issue as you, I have installed os x el capitan and my korg nanokontrol is not working anymore with ableton live. I think it s a midi compatibility issue and we must wait for a new driver from korg for the nanokontrol.
I hope that will be quick . . . Embarassed

I have the same problem, running the El Capitan GM release.

Tried deleting the files from the directories mentioned by @svatikk but there is nothing in my MIDI Drivers folder.

I did delete the advKorgUSBMIDIDriver.plugin from the /System/Library/Extensions/ path and restarted, but no luck.

Also tried re-installing KORG USB-MIDI driver from their site but still no luck.

I know the computer is recognizing the nanoKONTROL, you can see if from USB section of "System Information" app.

Will try a few other ideas but hopefully someone has already figured this out!

I have just tried what svatikk said but nothing has changed . . . Impossible to recognize to nanokontrol by the korg control editor and also impossible to send midi data from the nanokontrol to Ableton Live.

Seems to be working as usual over here with El Cap.
Note; the driver files are still there.

Thanks svatikk!

NanoKontrol v1 stopped working after upgrade to OS X El Capitan. Removed KorgUSB driver from /Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers/ and advKorgUSBMIDIDriver.plugin from /System/Library/Extensions/ and rebooted.

Now it works and I can still use Korg Kontrol Editor. Bizarre!
