|
|
hey guys i got another question here that just poped into my mind, this comes from my days of modding gameboys, the easiest (most important) mod anyone ever did to a gameboy was run something called a prosound mod, which basically means finding the output signal before it goes into the headphone amp unit and run that directly to your output jack.
The idea is that small headphone amps tend to add distortion when ran into a mixer or PA system. by bypassing that lil headphone amp circuitry, the signal comes out a lot cleaner.
Since the volcas only have a headphone driving 1/8" output, i figured maybe there could be a line out mod worth doing to clean up the sound a bit more?
I currently only own the volca sample, and i'm fairly satisfied with its sound personally, but figured id ask the question to see if someone else already did it or not?
I might if im bored try to fiddle with my sample to see if i can find a line out source...
Any thoughts? _________________ APC80 - kaoss pad quad - Launchpad - Launch control - an iPad Air 2 with a slew of useless gimmicky apps - electribe 2 free! - and future volca owner. |
