I see to recall someone a few weeks back asking about the problem that the midi files they were loading sounded flat with little dynamics. Someone suggested going into the Waves Maxx Mastering and making adjustments. The poster returned saying this had sorted out the flat sounding files.
I seem to have encountered the same issue on few midi files I use when loading them into my Pa4x. Going into the waves max eq sorte this out but if you happen to want to play the Pa4x with the file the eq you have just adjusted can make your sound wrong.
So what is the best way to work here, can you edit the waves eq for each midi file song and it is saved in songbook as a parameter or when you make adjustments with the waves max any saves you make are global which will then effect the Pa4x no matter what mode you put it in ????
Thing is I would be working between style play, midi files and mp3s and as anyone who is playing live its essential to maintain balance and consistency between songs. _________________ Yamaha S90ES, Korg Triton Pro, EXB Moss, Roland XV5080, Korg EX8000, Korg Pa4x 76, Korg Kronos 88, Crumar MOJO, Logic Pro X, V Collection, Novation SL61,Vienna, Korg Pa4x , EC-5, Vienna, Arturia V Collection, Roland SC88 Pro, Roland D110, Alesis SR16, Alesis D4 |
