|
|
Hi!
Just a few weeks with my E2, but I've been using the previous Electribes for long time. For instance a very handy feature on the EMX is the "original value" parameter shown when tweaking the knobs, which is great for copying sounds from one pattern to another one, or for comparison matters etc... I set the knob behavior of my E2 on "catch" which does help a little, but I have to go blind looking for the original value little by little until I find what I am looking for, which of course is a little tedious and it's not very accurate. Am I missing something here, or there's no such a feature as in the EMX? Hope I made this clear enough...
Thanks for your help. |

There is no such feature on the E2. You can use the arrow buttons to scroll through all the parameters of a Part to see what the values are, but that's not quite as quick as the old method for sure. _________________ Erik M.

I thought so... yes indeed I knew about the menu-diving too; not the quickest way though.
Hopefully they will include that feature in a future update, it doesn't seem to be a major thing to implement. |

I've found that the quickest way to get that information is to keep your knobs on "catch" mode via the Global menu. If you're careful and don't turn the knob too quickly while trying to find the original value you'll bump it up or down by one value, probably won't change the sound too drastically, and be able to take it from there.
Much quicker than scrolling through the part info text. |
