Since you only got like 25mb of internal sample memory, and 500 slots to insert samples.

And there is no logic in importing Stereo samples = lesser padslots...

the only option is to convert samples to mono and a lesser bitrate.

what application do you guys use for this on OSX? ( I maybe wanted to use Switch but when reducing the bitrate it makes the samples sound louder and distorted...)
Oh yeah I do own the app from the itunes store for importing samples but still
it does make samples mono but u don't get to import 500 samples... and yeah I do need more actually... Very Happy

So my question is how do you guys handle this? importing 500 samples...
to what bitrate do you guys reduce this??? the max is 48khz i know that Wink

mono ??? best bitrate ???

Lemme know

Thnx in advance Greetz...

I use audacity to convert my wavs to mono. I don't alter the bit rate.
Single cycle wavs are your friend on this machine.
I have a couple hundred one shot drum samples and a couple hundred single cycle wavs and still have room (memory) for more samples.
The great thing about the single cycles on this machine is that the envelopes work properly (unlike one shot synth samples).

Can audacity do "batch conversions" from stereo to mono?
