Hi,
After installing the OS 1.20, every time I switch from a Factory Style to a User Style the Pa4X freezes and I have to reboot the keyboard. |

Not sure what the problem is, but I have just tried it several times, after reading your post, and my works flawlessly.
I would suspect a corrupt User Style.

Hi DonM,
Thanks for the reply.
I hope so that it's a corrupt file causing this freezing, in this case I can just
detect it and remove it from my set, although it has cost me some hundred bucks. |

I remember loading some third party styles on my 3X and several of them caused the kb to lock up.

After OS update you MUST perform factory restore as per the instructions - did you do that?

Thanks for the reply.
Yes I did.
Just FYI I use korg arrangers since year 1999, so I am not an expert but quiet familiar with Korg's arrangers and I perform 2 or 4 times per week for the years.

| I have a new PZ4X. It also happened to me also. I'm on software 1.1.2 . not the new software, but i was using the user styles last night, and i switched to one and it just froze up. I rebooted it and then tried the stuyle again and it was fine. I had been on the keyboard for about 3 hours trying all my different user styles, and this only happened when i selected a particular one, it just just totally froze up. |

| I load my pa3x factory style into my pa4x user and then i change them to pa4x styles ( style edit mode and resave them ) and then it happen , some style lock up the keyboard , no buttom or screen , so reboot and it work fine again ,, try the pa3x style again and it lock up . so i put back the pa3x styles and i did knot change them , just left them aa a Pa3x style. it work fine, |
