Has anyone noticed that the Owner's Manual describes exactly the same procedure for setting Sync and Gate polarity? In both cases it is controlled by MODE button, which is... uhm... looks like obvious error to me. _________________ Korg SV1, Nord Electro 5D,

Yes I have noticed this. The procedure using the MODE button does certainly change the TRIG/GATE polarity. I'm not sure that it changes the SYNC polarity at the same time - would that even make sense?
Either there's another button to push when setting SQ-1 global parameters (can't see one lit up) or it isn't possible to change SYNC polarity. _________________ MS-20M - SQ-1 - Trinity V3 - Moog Sub 37 - Waldorf Blowfeld |

I've mentioned this to Korg tech support as an aside to an unrelated problem I'm having with the SQ-1. I'll post any relevant responses from Korg here. _________________ MS-20M - SQ-1 - Trinity V3 - Moog Sub 37 - Waldorf Blowfeld |

So does anyone know what the duty/function button does when you're in global parameters settings? You can turn it on/off but I can't figure out what effect it has and Korg doesn't mention it in the manual anywhere... |

Hi,
When u change the parameter setting for Gate (+/-), at the same time u also change the sync inout polarity. probably both are linked with the function ! |
