My "problem" is like that.:
1)
I have factory sound.
I have my own sound.
I have my own ksc.
I have a setlist.
2) I do backup----------------
/////////////////////////////////
3) No i found some free pcg bank with ksc i copy that to separate folder on internal disk kronos.
4)But i don't like all patches from all pcg bank, so question is.:

a)How to load only one patches from the new pcg what i like it?
b)How to listen patch with external sample from pcg without loading all samples .... ?

I mean how to preview without load all pcg to internal memory... and after that restore from backup because i don't like it all.

I Found file .:
xxxxx.ksc
xxxxx-ok_userbank.ksc
xxxxx-_userbank.ksc
xxxxx-ok.ksc
xxxxx-ok.pcg
xxxxx-ok.sng

When i do open on pcg file i can see.:
pcg file open--- program --- openBANK - U-G(user G) --- Isee patch
But because i don't load ksc i can preview that sound without load...

So how i could know what i should load for some patch?

I go to program, and select UG bank, and choose path. what i have already loaded.

On the top of the screen i sow sample not loaded...---> from menu i select loaded only required samples...

Now i can play... and i can save that program... But how can i save that ksc form only that sound... ?

This is general,

When you load the missing samples, look at the program and determine what the sample name is it's using. Go to the disk and locate that sample. You should be able to find the .ksc version and the userbank.ksc version.

If this is integrated with a bundle where you cannot load it by itself (not certain that is possible) you could directly load the .Ksc version, save all sampling data in disk mode with that sample and maybe rename it. This will create a new userbank.Ksc that can be added to autoload in Global.

Any sample you need can be added to autoload in Global (userbank version) and will always be there when you need it.

Hope this makes sense. Smile

@goelectro
thank you for help... I understand whole idea, but need step by step procedure.
THE pcg is Kronos-Motif - from this link.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAe07QvH4nE

So let's concentrate how to locate what i need exactly... :
1) Example i load to my program form my internal drive only tenor SAX.
2) In Program Mode, i change to bankg UG (slot 3), in that slot i save my tenor section motif
3) After reboot kronos i can see Sample Not loaded( i know it's because i have to load ksc in global mode... ) but... i would like to load only that sample what i need for path what i have, i don't need all, and loose space...
4)So Main, load required sample.:
a) Load only required samples
b)load complete banks...
Couse i need only samples for this tenor section motif.
I click load only required samples....
I also notice name.(i don;t know what mean this name)
HDD: Internal HD:Motif - Kronos/Motif - Kronos Stereo MS2
HDD: Internal HD:Motif - Kronos/Motif - Kronos Stereo MS4

So because i can't click on that name, kronos probably show me what he need for that path "tenor section motif"

Click load only required samples.
5)Now i can play, because sample loaded... (where they load? ) in ram ?
or read directly from HDD ?

I know until now when i reboot kronos i still have the same problem,
So i have to find my samples
6) I click on disk, chose folder what i download from this youtube channel.
a)Disk
b)Motif-Kronos folder.
c) and now which ksc file i should open ?

Becouse pcg have a name.:
MOTIF-KRONOS-OK.PCG
I decided yo open MOTIF-KRONOS-OK.KSC
Inside i see folders
Samplid Mode DAta
EXs1
EXs2
EXs3
until
EXs9

Inside sampled Mode DATA.:
I can see.: Multisamples
Inside i can see
4 file (i think is again folders)
Tenor Secion 0 L
Tenor SEcion 0 R
Tenor SEcion 2 L
Tenor Secion 2 R

Inside each this folder i can see...
Probably my samples, air or wave course i can't open more... i can only load...

So what i have to do know ?

BTW, why i can see also EXsfrom1to-9 ? In Sampling Mode Data i can see all group files from my PCG patches...

Auto load in global mode was mentioned by geoelectro.
Thats the last step to do when you finish sorting your samples in personal KSC files in disk mode. It seems you have already done that.
And yes what you can do with sample file management is limited and it may be best that way, so as not to confuse the mapping across all sounds in the system.
PCG tools may be something you want to look into but i can not help you with that. I know how to stretch my factory installed content and i dont really play so much variety to need more than a few hundred out of thousands of samples.

So in disk mode you can open up all your KSC files(Userand EXS) and find all the samples you want and then load only the ones you want to focus on.

When you press load in disk mode, a pop up box gives you loading choices. One of the coices is "Load method for EXS and User Sample banks" It has "KSC setting" as one load method or "RAM" as second option and "Virtual memory" as third option. "Virtual memory" is internal drive ,and "KSC settings" is the system choice.
So you can choose if you load to disk or ram. It will also show you in the choice box how much free RAM you have available. Internal disk option is reason for you not to wory about you losing space. It is enough for all your samples, songs, and PCG content. Then you can save back up data on USB drives to expand your space and save internal space for your daily activity stock.
Also remember you can go to the top screen drop down box in disk mode after you open to each individual sample. The drop down box will have "Show L/R Stereo Pair". You can use this organize/know the samples that work together to make stereo effect in the programs.

In global mode you press the "KSC auto-load" tab and it will open to the page.
Then you will see choices to "Add KSC", "Remove KSC" and "Do Auto-Load Now".
You want to explore "Add KSC" when you enter Add KSC, you will see all your disk mode KSC files appear and you can open then to the individual samples and then there is "Multi select" option box you can press below at the bottom of the screen. It will allow you to select many samples in a group of only what you like.
When you finish selecting, press "Add". My own "Add" select tab is not active because all of my KSC are factory installed and already designated as pre-load to be loaded when the Kronos is powered on.

make a user KSC file with the samples you want in a bank. Save to disk mode and it will be available to view in Global mode when you set up auto load.

Be sure to learn about "PCG tools", it seems you will be needing it along the way you are going.

1) Auto load in global mode -
i know i use it and i know how to load set of sample...

The Problem was and it is still, how to create those set of samples. Without load all user bank ksc.

2) PCG Tools i have version 2.7.3 - awesome tools- so much easier manage.:
Program/Combi/Set List / Wave sequences/Drum Kit.

Good for editing text, change sound in bank.

But example.:
In set List 2 i have a song :Bruno Mars - Heaven - separate samples(btw thx for upload samples) and So in PCG Tools i can't see that for that i need some set of samples.

That's my problem how to fast manage sound which use samples(ksc)

Like 19naia - like you say "sorting your samples in personal KSC files in disk mode." - this is my problem... Smile
I know how to that but maybe my workflow is so slow....

My Process - tell me if i could do faster.:
0) Backup all my actual setting. PCG/KSC etc.
1) I download from internet some pcg files.
PCG is all set of sound)
2) I load all from pcg in I'm empty bank. Why all cause, i don't know how is exactly sound, without playing, and i can't play without load KSC. So i do both. PCG & KSC-userbank.
3) I play all sound example there is 90'd different patches in my new PCG.
4) I write on paper what i like it
5) And now what?

a)How is the easiest why to locate and save my samples for patch.
b) If i like more than 10 patches from 90 different.
Schould i save one ksc= 1 patches or i should load 10 and save all 10 in one ksc ?...

That my problem easy manage.
Maybe the problem is simply than i think...

6) I restore from backup my backup PCG because now i know what i want (those 10 patches)
7) I Open PCG, to chose exactly sound from paper those 10. And load to empty slot in my bank
Cool I can't play because load sample required...
I can exactly locate this now... (because when i load there is a name).

BTW.:
When i load i see those samples go to ram, how i can save ksc from that position.
Example I load required samples. Everything is fine, i would like just save my sound with ksc file - there is somewhere option for that?

This would be good, but i can't find that option.
So next point.
9) Go to disk.
Open KSC-user bank, locate those samples what i saw when i load for one patch
And again problem i see those multisample but i can't copy and save.

Cause Save/Utylity (there is no copy active)
So what i have to load somewhere...

Ach i know it's propably easy... maybe someone could write for me or add link to some tut how to manage those kind of sound's
