Hi! I'm looking for an external midi device so i can choose many performances conveniently in my pa50.
Can this be done? If yes, can you recommend me such a device?
Maybe a controller with pads should do it?
Is there something with touchscreen also?
Thanks! |

Yes most of the Midi controller keyboards will do that but you will have to setup all the right midi control messages first and assign them to pads or whatever.
All the data you need is in the manual of the Pa50 but that requires a fairly good grasp of midi.
I use a Roland PCR300 which can do the above but I mainly use it to access other patches on the fly. Saves messing with the rather complicated panel of the Pa50.
You have to Write/Assign the Pa50 patches to the controller first which is done via the free soft editor.
As to touch screen,,,, well yes I'm sure if you are rich you can have one made to your specs.

Thanks for the reply!
That's nice, but i prefer something without keyboard, only the buttons/pads.
Any recommendation? |
