I have been scratching my head on this one for awhile and decided to ask for help once again.
I don't seem to be having any success in controlling the volume of my Radias with Sonar X3. The pan works fine but the volume of the program remains the same even though Sonar is sending volume messages to it (at least that it was it looks like when I view the console in X3).
This particular program "RadiaSweep" is the one I am using at present and want to fade it out rather than stop it at the end of the sequence.
According to the manual, I should be able to control the volume by going to the Global midi map page and setting it to AmpLevel on CC#07.
I did this and nothing changed.
I checked to make sure everything in the Midi Filter P06 was enabled in case that was causing it but it shows fine.
I did a couple of Factory resets because I did not have any sounds altered at the moment - still learning about this synth.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

Mmh, seems strange. Do you know which CC number the RadiaSweep is sending out to change the volume?

Note also that, in order to have this working properly, all your timbres in a program should use the same MIDI channel, or the application needs to send the message several times, once for each MIDI channel in use. Be aware that it reduces the amp level, so the effects sections (e.g. delays) may still sound.

You could also try to send the master volume message - F0 7F 7F 04 01 vv mm F7, where the volume is given as vv + mm*128, both vv and mm take values from 0 to 127.

Good luck.

It looks like this particular program uses 4 timbres, the first timbre is set to midi channel global (1), the second uses midi channel 8, third channel 9 and fourth channel 10...I will try and change them all to the global channel to see what happens.
