Hello,

Yesterday I took delivery of a LP380 73 key. I've noticed when playing lightly, the notes sometimes double stike; the note is triggered a few milliseconds after the initial strike, but with a much lower velocity, effectively muting the note prematurely.

I have verified this by analysing the midi output in Logic's event list.

Now, I see the Kronos shares the same keybed and found a 3 or 4 year old thread about what appears to be the same issue. Unfortunately that thread escalated into a 110 page flame war making it difficult to draw any conclusions about the nature of the problem or possible solutions.

This leads me to a number of questions:

- What was the conclusion about this problem? Did Korg recognise it as being an issue or does it require a change of playing technique?
- Has this problem been seen before on the LP380? Was it maybe just early models and corrected in more recently produced models? The reason I ask is that I was supplied an ex-demo model (even though the retailer had not advertised as such), and I have no idea of it's age.
- Should I try and swap the LP380 for another LP380 to see if that resolves the issue. Or should I just cut my losses and get my money back and look for something else? Or do I just need to adjust my playing style?

FWIW, screenshots of the Logic's event list below. Towards the bottom of each of the attached screenshots it can be seen that some notes are triggered twice in short succession - the second time with a low velocity (5th column from the left).
