|
|
Hi guys,
Hoping to get some help from you, I've finally got round to buying a microkorg. Late to the party I know..!
On the Vintage/hip hop preset A58 the 60s sounding organ sound, I'd like to add vibrato to that sound. Moving the tone wheel up just makes the signal quiet and moving it down makes the signal stronger. If anyone could tell me a step by step guide on how to add vibrato to this preset I would be so grateful.
Thank you and I appreciate your time in advance.

Hi,
Could it be that you are talking about A56 iso A58?
You will need to study the manual a bit, it is a bit too lengthy to explain this step by step. On top of that, I have the XL, with the regular microKorg patches in a library file. So I can only outline more or less what you need to do.
Turn 'Edit select 1' to 'Pitch'. The 5th knob is now vibrato intensity, turn that up. It will cause that when the modwheel is scrolled up, LFO2 will modulate more and more the pitch.
But you still need to get rid of the volume effect...
Use the 'Edit select 2' knob and go over the Patch 1 to 4 positions. For each of these patches, use knob 3 (becomes modulation intensity) and put the value to 0 and try whether the volume effect of the modwheel is gone. If not, turn it back to the original value (the led indicates it). My educated guess is that patch 2, is linking the mod wheel to the volume (amp level). So start with patch 2..
Good luck! _________________ microKORGXL, Kaossilator Pro, monotribe, SQ-1, volca fm, Kross 88 BK
