|

Is it just me (very likely) or does the following video I just recorded demonstrate an error in the VCO controller? https://youtu.be/cRufjMcrZfU
I have a very simple sound: A single VCO, no filter, no modulation, slow attack and release, in poly mode. Pressing a third note with a pitch higher than the lowest one does not behave as I would expect. Pressing the third note below the lowest note does behave as I would expect.
I have the latest minilogue firmware. |

It's the lowest note being muted when a third higher pitched note is played. So it only plays two notes at a time, although four should be possible in poly mode. Or am I missing something? |

The problem does not repeat with the built in patches. Only with the ones I create after pressing Shift+Play (Load Panel).
If I start with, for example, any of the Init patches (100+), I turn everything down/neutral, so that I have a simple wave it works as expected. Then I press Shift+Play, and I should have the exact same settings, but then the bug occurs. The lowest note is muted.
Here's an updated video that clearly demonstrates the bug: https://youtu.be/N0MOOZnr3oA |

I'd appreciate if someone could confirm if the issue repeats on their units or not, so that I know if it is general firmware bug, or something specific to my unit. |

Just now when I was to demonstrate the problem again, it does not repeat anymore! Don't know what fixed it. I had rebooted it before, but maybe now that I hadn't had it powered overnight it got completely reset. Who knows. |

It was just me after all... I had the Voice Mode Depth control not fully turned down, so the value was at "Invert 1" when I did the Load Panel operation. This then caused the lowest pitched tone to be "inverted" and play an octave higher or something.
I'll now delete my stupid Youtube videos... |
