Electribe 2 - Note Step Entry - Please add?

I bought the E2 cheap, knowing it's limitations.

Korg, can you PLEASE implement the following step note entry:

-Go to sequencer, press a pad to indicate the step you want

-it would switch to "note entry" mode, where you press the note(s) you want to play for that selected step.


Why this was not implemented is beyond me, can this please be added via firmware? Instead of only using the knob to change note values, why not let us use a keyboard/pads? I honestly think that if this was implemented you would sell these like hotcakes!
