|

Ok, I'm brand new here. My wife and I recently purchased a Krome and love it. And, in using it, have realized we have a question.
We have the 88 key version and are trying to discern if it would be possible to buy a simple 61-key controller type of keyboard and have it trigger one Krome sound (like, say, an organ) while simultaneously outputting a different sound on the actual Krome 88 (like a piano or pad).
Is this something that's possible or done? It would expand what we can do easily live a lot.
Thanks for any help you can give! |

Yes, this is absolutely possible.
I would do it by going into sequencer mode - not to use the sequencer as such (unless you want to) and then by setting the Krome to one channel on its main keyboard, and then accept MIDI on another channel from the other keyboard. Pick two sounds for your respective channels, and play!
Let us know if it works for you. |
