|
|
Hello,
Set up:
sq1 cv 1+2 to MS20mini vco1+2
sq1 gate out to ms20mini trig in
sq1 in pause. But when I turn the sustain of the vco2: a drone is holding like forever!
Does it sound like the sq1 as a trouble? like a cv malfunction?
Someone maybe can confirm this simple patch?
I'm playing since 6 month with these gear, quite sure the sustain had to hokd a note of the sq1 while playing, but no sound should come in pause…
Thanks for helping.

Hi,
Did you set the gate polarity of the SQ-1 to negative? (Global setting) The factory setting is positive. MS20 needs negative.
If you did not put it to negative, it would mean that at pauses, the VCA of the MS20 is put open through envelope generator 2 and causing a drone.
Have fun. _________________ microKORGXL, Kaossilator Pro, monotribe, SQ-1, volca fm, Kross 88 BK
