I just replaced a dead battery in a Trinity. Ver. 3.1.1 with HDR & PBS installed. The belt on the floppy has melted and I cannot load the .PCG program data.
Can someone provide a download link to get the factory program data in a .syx file format so I can use MIDIOX to load them?
I have tried Trinitro to send the .PCG file but keep getting the error that the Trinity is not responding.
Thanks

Is sysex transfer enabled in the global settings?

PC version of the data can be downloaded from here: http://i.korg.com/uploads/Download/Trin_nonV3_pl_633662425622770000.exe but this does not include V3 sounds. Perhaps it gets you going, still...

The link you provided is to the KORG .pcg files. I am searching for a .syx format that I can use in MIDIOX.

You're right, sorry - I'm using my T2 these days and there the download file is SYX, but not for the Trinity. Apologies.

I' don't have the SYX files for the Trinity (for sure not handy), but you can use Trinitro (if you can get it running on your computer - or perhaps in a simulator) to send the PCG file via sysex, that should do the trick. Hope it helps before someone else fianlly posts the SYX.

You may load .PCG directly using the Trinitro3.8 program, the link is available in this forum.

You may also buy a gotek floppy drive emulator. On Ebay is about 17 EURO.

Cheers!
