Can anyone help me create a decent howling wind noise? (using original microkorg)
I've tried playing around with noise, with a resonant filter, and modified it with the cutoff, but I have had no success yet.
Thanks in advance,
stuck. |

I had a great howling wind patch. It was actually supposed to be the seaside.
Unfortunately I don't have my microKorg nor the patch files any more, so its not terribly useful. But your post brought back some memories. _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,

Because it's a noise patch, you can use both timbres to generate noise in a layer, then you have two filters to use for various howls using the resonance and center points. |

I know it's an old thread, but I landed here searching for some instructions. I ended up making this simple patch for howling wind.
