|
|
Hey Everyone,
I recently got a Korg MS-20 mini and noticed on the Korg website in one of the example videos they are running the synth through a DI box first, is this needed? Or can I go directly from the output of the MS-20 to a line level input on my Apogee Ensemble (Firewire)? Also would I set the Apogee line level to -10dbV or +4dBu?
Here is the output specification for the MS-20 Mini:
SIGNAL OUT jack (mono 1/8" mini phone jack, 2Vp-p output impedance 3.5kΩ)
Thank you all for your help - Hope you’re all having a great weekend! |

Over short cable lengths unbalanced connection is fine, unless you have strobe lights and a smoke machine in your studio |
