Hi:

About a month or so ago I played a festival that provided a Triton Pro 76 as backline. I saved all my prog/combis/seq on my home Triton Pro 76 to a floppy.

When I loaded the disk into the provided model, it stated "disk not formatted", and I was unable to load my sounds in. I know my disks were ok, because I was able to load them ion my own keyboard.

Not sure why this happened, but is it possible the firmware on the loner keyboard wasn't up to date? I would sincerely like to prevent this form happening in the future, and would hate to have to switch leybairds.

thanks in advance

Be sure to format the disk on the Triton before you write/save any files. Korg recommend using MSDOS formatted 1.44mb floppy but I have found that the much older 720k diskettes will work as well however they are not 100% reliable. Also instead of the 'quick format' choose the 'full format' whenever you are using a disk for the first time.
