|
|
I've figured out how to assign knobs etc on one gadget but then my controller was controlling all the gadgets other knobs and now my project is all over the place (no biggie, was only a test!) How do you assign external controls to gadgets without those controls being assigned willy-nilly to the other gadgets??
Also, can you assign external controls to the mixers within gadget?
Thanks _________________ Inside every old man there's a young man wondering wtf happened. |

I don't know but would like too. The whole midi cc thing in general and across platforms and programs has been doing my head for years. Surely I can't be alone on this. I don't understand why more explanation
and examples of how to do this stuff isn't provided...it seems like everything is presumed to be universally known.. |

If you have the MIDI setting in advanced mode then you need to assign channels to your tracks, otherwise all tracks will receive the midi CC's and the Gadget have default mappings using the same CC numbers.....this is not ideal though as you would have to change the send channel on your controller each time you want to change which gadget you control.
If you put your MIDI to Easy mode then only the selected track will receive the commands from the controller.
Hope this helps

I don't believe you can assign controllers to the mixer, the only option for that at the moment is to use the NanoKontrol Studio.....
I have a NanoKontrol2 and even that wont do it |
